This is the moment to deepen, or commit to, your regular creativity practice. Regularity — a daily practice, if at all possible — is key.
So what are your plans for creative practice this week? Given the specifics of your schedule, decide on a realistic intention, goal, or a milestone to reach for — and plan that time in your calendar. An intention as simple as “I will be creative for 10 minutes every day” or “I will gesso three canvases on Wednesday” is what it’s all about.

clean slate approach: this week:
need to get caught up on housework and gardening, lots of filing to do, it’s may, late for my gardening zone, so going to turn over plots and get it started this week, a little everyday that it doesn’t rain.
writing has to take a back seat, but tomorrow is writing group, so i will at least finally finish reading through draft three. already have critiques, will do well to work on it as i finish this read through with pen in hand. also started a decidedly non-kid story idea last week, hoping to have an hour or two later this week to work on that.
have been enjoying bellydance classes, mondays just me, and toots and me on thursdays. i forgot how much dancing feeds my soul. still singing in choir, too.
i have stopped working at the pt job that took over my life by not having a regulated schedule. starting to come down out of the cyclone and ground, find my brain again.
Gosh, another week has flown by. Lots of good things going on — feeling wonderfully connected to my community right now.
