I love this quote. This is exactly the magic of painting. You have a blank sheet of white canvas, and it turns into a candle lit table of beautiful things. The marvel never fades. And…re: last weeks goals? I did get all the painting done, but I realize now I set my goal based on wishful thinking rather than accurate calculation of the actual time needed to complete the task. It’s all well and good to think I’m superwoman, but if paint and varnish both take 24 hours to dry, no amount of blowing hot air will change that.
Hi! I got a lot of writing done last week but I didn’t achieve my goal of completing all 28 blogs for the month before it launched yesterday!! However I am so excited that it did launch and look forward to staying ahead on my writing so that I don’t get overwhelmed by life. Also for this week I hope to get back to some of the crafty crochet projects I’ve been dreaming of!
