Miranda: Art Every Day Month ~ Day 3
For day 3 of Art Every Day Month (AEDM), I drafted the first poem for my series and began assembling collage elements. I forgot how much I love working on a poem: thinking, writing, sitting back, re-working, sitting back, looking again…
I’m posting my AEDM work here on a daily or near-daily basis. If you’d like to join in the fun, it’s not too late! Here’s all the info. And if you don’t have your own blog, you’re welcome to post your AEDM work here. Just comment on this post to let me know.
“working on a poem: thinking, writing, sitting back, re-working, sitting back, looking again⦔ – oh yes π
nice assembly going on there π
Thank you, Adan! (Is your name pronounced the same way that my son Aidan’s name is pronounced?)
I’ve had a tough time with this project so far because the poems need to be “finished” enough to put them into a collage — and how can a poem ever be finished, right? At least it won’t be too hard to rip out the poem and replace it with the revision whenever I need to π
!!!! being able to replace with revisions is BIG! π
imagine not being able to write anything on paper til it was finished!
in painting, that’s kinda tough with oils and esp watercolors, though a bit easier in acrylics cause they’re “fairly” easy to cover over
in a collage, which i haven’t done many, i guess it depends on it’s put together huh? should be interesting to follow your days of collage π
on my name, it’s pronounced, in spanish with the a’s like ahhh, and the d like “th” ahthahnnn
in kindergarten, no one could say that, so it’s became (and is) pronounced like ahdon
i always thought it too bad mine wasn’t aidan, but it’s a variation – aint’t it all π
