Now i have to come up with what I'm going to say. All this writing, I think I started on a new poem the other night. Has me thinking anyway. And an article about starting a business is not like a horse race, more like conducting an elaborate piece of music... Anyway, Pecha Kucha is Japanese for Chit Chat - 20 slides. 20 seconds per slide to talk about the slides, or your process, or your dreams, or whatever. Love that 6 minutes 40 seconds is very specific, not very long, but with plenty of time for some thing magic to happen. Now that the slides are in order, plan to work on words tomorrow. FInding that word counts for me, this month, are not as helpful, since i have these specific assignments/goals. BUt I like what pushing for them teaches me. Cheers. PS, Avoided doggy surgery today. Scottish deerhound, the largest and eldest of my two dogs. I can honestly say I don't know how you parents do it. I didn't write a word either! I go home lat night at 8:30 with no child and nothing to do, and... I found I was exhausted and empty. But pleasantly so. I needed a night off, so I took one. I listened to Otis Redding and ate ice cream. One cannot draw from an empty well, and apparently this is how I re-stock. For me, this a surprisingly emotional experience. My writing tends to get personal as I am completely self-absorbed, and I find myself mentally and emotionally spent afterward.
