For editing and brainstorming, definitely pen and paper. For actual writing, must be on the computer. I’m a fast writer, and I find that my hands can’t keep up with my thoughts unless I’m typing.

i definitely rely on the computer for writing anything of any length. my handwriting is SO terrible, i typically can’t read it myself. i’ve been wanting to try art journaling but have kept holding back for that very same reason. i think better on the computer. i can play around with words better on the computer.

i do my best writing longhand. but then it tends not to make it into the computer in a useable way, so i can edit and submit it somewhere, for instance.

there’s a tactile element to writing that can’t be denied, helps the transportation of idea to fruition with magic or spirit, like painting with a brush vs in a graphics program.
